Deregulation
Are you confused by the many options being offered to your company by deregulated utility providers and marketers?  Up until 1998 energy was purchased from a single company who provided the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity.  With the deregulation of the electric utility industry, new competition has now opened up with offers to consumers with different choices in purchasing their energy.

Since the deregulation of the electric industry, many utility companies have been forced to redesign their bills with more complicated and difficult to understand billing structures.  Many components of your electric bill will be unbundled and billed as separate items.  This means you’ll see various separate charges for generation, transmission, and for the distribution of your electricity bills.  In addition, certain tariffs and surcharges may be added to each of these charges which may or may not be applicable

If your company is thinking about deregulating or has deregulated  let Standard Rate Review's deregulation experts evaluate and review your present energy bills to determine if every possible opportunity for savings has been implemented.  Our expertise and knowledge of deregulation on a state by state basis has been a valuable asset for our clients which has made deregulation work for them.  Our staff is constantly kept appraised of the changes affecting deregulation so that our clients have available up to date information, which may affect their purchases of energy.

However, deregulation may not be for every company.  In fact we have seen results where companies were actually paying more for their utilities when deregulated because of decisions made without the full understanding and knowledge of their energy needs.  Contact one of our deregulation experts for details on how we can help your company make the right choice in purchasing deregulated energy.  Many mistakes can be made and may affect your future costs, find out now what’s right for your company.
